Yeah plausible, but I would hope that a coach three years into a five year contract who has us sitting at 5-13 doesn't have a huge input on list management, particularly long term deals.
We should have a strong plan in place with building the list which isn't swayed by a coach who's next potential contract is dependent on short term gains.
You said "Ross ain't waiting…" so obviously believe he is pulling the strings. Let's hope not, he royally ****ed our list last time.

Copped a horror run with injuries. Kosi was never the same after the head knock. Ball was tracking to be elite but fell off a cliff due to persistent groin injuries. Hamill perpetually injured, and one that people forget was Luke Penny. Elite key position player before going down.
The 2004-2005 list was the most talent we have ever had. Just couldn't stay healthy.

Kosi's best season was post-concussion. Look at his first 15 games in 2009 before he split the webbing on his hand against Adelaide. He also destroyed Scarlett in the Geelong H&A game.

He was playing in a dominant side that year. Agree he had a good year, but he looked like he was on track to be elite in 2005.
I just felt he was never the same. He himself said his love for the game was gone post head knock.
