it would of been a failed challenge because of a stupid part of the rule where if you challenge a spot and the ball is moved but its still the same down [like moved forward but still not a 1st down, or moved back and still short of a 1st down] you lose the challenge.
Its happened a few times this season, i just stupid you can have the ball moved but lose the challenge.

I believe they did it because you could literally win every ball spot if they wanted to get technical on reviewing ball spots.

The 49ers' black uniform, known as the "Rivalries" uniforms, debuted during the 2023 NFL season. These uniforms feature a midnight black helmet with red striping and a gold-coated facemask, paired with striking red numbers outlined in gold. The design is inspired by the Gold Rush era that defined San Francisco and includes a cursive "Faithful" script above the red numbers.
