Percentage would have been built in exactly the same way ( total winning margin over 2 games) regardless of the interval between games.
Weak opposition can also lull a team into a false sense of security.
The only possible advantage IMO is resting players

I don't think it will matter now because Geelong are likely to finish second regardless but I think it's an unfair advantage if they had needed a big % boost, they could have known exactly how much they needed to win by and really put the foot down as opposed to paying them earlier in the year and cruising to a smaller win

He'd likely need 3 managers. Retiring at 30 after arguably the 2 best years of his career in a runner up and premier is incredible. He's younger than several of the top players in the Coleman!
