What, like Daniel Annable their Academy pick? They get father sons from a successful dynasty (Ashcroft x 2, Fletcher) as well as the pick of 1/2 the kids in Queensland.
They had a few injuries too (Coleman, Hipwood, McCarthy, Payne) and may add Draper and Oscar Allen.

It doesn’t get noticed and spoken about anywhere other than here, because Geelong don’t lose that much, but their coach is the most miserable whinger in his press conferences after a loss. He always prefaces a sentence with “I don’t want this to sound like sour grapes but…” and then goes onto complain about rules/injuries/umpiring/whatever outside force he imagines conspired against Geelong that day.
He is absolutely insufferable after a loss.

And nailing the moments, when you have momentum, not near misses. Late third quarter where they started their run, they managed to nail each and every opportunity. That was some performance, we'd do well to learn from especially keep the foot down and kill the game.

Here's an absolute gem from the Geelong board

They need to get rid of f/s or make teams give up real picks. Of this keeps happening teams like Brisbane, GWS and GC will dominate the comp.

The point itself is actually a valid one, the fact that a Geelong supporter is crying foul when they got Ablett, Scarlett and Hawkins for next to nothing makes the melt even funnier.

I’ve lived in Geelong.
It is not an experience I would ever want to repeat.

I had to go there one day a week for work, that was more than enough for me, my hat goes off to you for living there and surviving.

This is the problem when you have smug like Chris Scott leading the club, they think they can get away with anyway

Having spent some time in Geelong, i think living in a place where the majority of people support the same team, they just drink their own bath water (In my experience, they don't know what to say to someone who questions what they say) and it would suit a POS like Chris Scott, cause he'd be treated like a god there.
