Needing to go down to 3 trades to field a halfway decent team. Terrible year.

Tossing up the merits of a strong 22 + McCarthy vs. Kerch as a 23rd and looped with McCarthy.

I've come up with three "pathways" over the next two weeks:

21st	22nd	23rd	24th
Bont	Anyone except Gawn	McCarthy
Bont	Mills	Kerch	McCarthy
Darcy	Mills	Caldwell	McCarthy

Option 1) guarantees Bont at the cost of Neale/Kerch and squeezing in a 23rd. McCarthy is unproven so there's a lot of risk but it's a stronger 22 and leaves a little bit of bank left over.
Option 2) skips Darcy and is reliant on Sheldrick and Bont's scores this week to be affordable (e.g. if Sheldrick scores 80, Bont has to go <135). No bank left over.
Option 3) means anti-PODing Bont for the year, trading Neale and Kerch at M8. No bank left over.

As above, flip a coin.

However, what bank would you have left over, and how many sub-$550k premos do you currently have (I have 10!). The extra $20k going Serong might come in handy if one of your premos goes down at an awkward price to move in one trade.

Dawson for the draw – has all of Richmond, West Coast, Melbourne and North on the run home, five more games at AO, and only really one game against a recognised tagger (Port/Bergman).

Serong only plays one of those teams on the run home and likely gets Windhager this week, plus he could get Bergman, Jordon and Cincotta in his remaining games.

Sorta like the Pod element of Richards, but more likely to face a tag so slightly lower floor but think the ceiling may be a tad higher. Would also be fun to own a POD.

On the other hand Brayshaw been so damn consistent this year and has a fairly friendly run home.

Torn between the 2, already own Serong and Clark from Freo and Bont and Darcy from Dogs. Probably leaning slightly towards Red Ed.

No one answered me, but I'll answer you.

Much of a muchness really. I ended up going Whitfield, mainly because he was marginally cheaper.

He is even more cheap now.

Ash more of a POD though if you are looking to differentiate.

I love Miers POD status.
I suppose if I get Rankine, he can be my first genuine Roughy of the season.

For me Whitfield out averages Ash if it wasn't for his 16, is a better player overall and more fun to barrack for.
English has a much better run home than Meek. Rankine vs Miers is a toss up - probably Miers with the form and the Cats have a very soft run home.

I need help with Sinclair vs Whitfield. I think I like Whitfield as Sinclair seems down on form lately coinciding with the rise of NWM. Any help will be appreciated.
