Trades 2025 Round 10 Trades

Having a play around, but using one of my 3 remaining boosts to go:

Bice, Trainor, Daniel to Sinclair, LRyan and El-Hawli (CWarner moves forward) has my team looking better balanced and helps the bye situation.

Rucks, forwards and flex obviously as strong as can be. Will use remaining 20 trades to finalise D and M during next few weeks when Reid, Maric, Lindsay, El HAWLI stop mooing.

Feels like one of the hardest rounds to trade.

I’m one for moving on rookies and keeping those underperforming “premiums” so guys like Cerra, Daniel, Oliver will have to stay.

Trainor > Saad EH
Kako > Simpson
Hewett > Warner.

**** it, nearly got rids of all my Duds, Daniels and Holmes out last week, don't care what Holmes did this week-1 good score out of 5 ain't enough to keep a Geelong player, need 4/5 to do that.

Another spud out this week, not losing anything and 40 possys in 2nds good enough for me, he'll come good over time and already have enough dead rookies.

Well for the first time this year I am stuck on what to do.

Have $80k in the bank.

None of the rookies appeal to me.

Obviously want to get Sinclair into my team this week. But with the amount of cash in my bank, I think the only way I can do that is Cerra to Sinclair.

Any other options I am missing?

I am pretty lost this week, been awhile since we had a rookie drought like this.

1. I could correct Hayes -> Hawli and sit to wait rookies to mature one more and grab Sinclair.

2. Or I can just progress the team forward. Lindsay -> Hawli Levi -> Sinclair. Leaves me with 17k. If Cooper is legit pickup. I can do Cleary + Langford to Naicos the following week if scoring falls my way.

But it feels bad trading Lindsay + Levi now when they squeeze out 10 to 15k each.

Would trade Daniels but with the set-up would leave Levi on the fwd Bench.

No boost and 21 trades going into this week.

Really could do with trading in a rookie defender that will STAY in the team and play games... Carroll and Busslinger on my bench here with no DPP options... Donut city awaits. On top of that I have C.Hall and Camporeale as dead rooks with zero cash gen. Awful.

Could trade Carroll / C.Hall down and pocket $70k or whatever just to get some better cash gen happening, or could use Trainor / Bice / Hewett types to get a premo in.

Couldn't see the St Kilda game but it looked like Boxshall struggled to get involved? Really don't want another rook banished to the magoo's

Cash gen a bit DOA so had to remove some dead rooks whilst also upgrading Bice. I know JS isn't super solid for the rooks I brought in but needed to bulk up the wallet for upgrades. Leaves me with one defender, one mid and two forwards to upgrade and I'm done.

Already been to the doctors this morning and he told me the prognosis is not that good !!!!

I am suffering from DBS.
You all may know it as
‘Dead Bench Syndrome’.

Also a rash has appeared in my midfield with no DPP cream at the chemist to soothe it.

Doctor advised me to drink up plenty of low BE liquids, but also be careful with upgrades as they may worsen the DBS to full blown DBBS (Dead Bye Bench Syndrome) which he has said is 70-90% fatal.

So my trade diet is going to have to change drastically.

So this week I am giving up Flynn’s and Bice, too high in Gluten.

And going low GI eating Dunkley’s and El-Hawli’s.

Advised also to wait a few weeks for DBS to re-spike before I start trying to eat Sinclair’s, Sheezel’s, Whitfield’s or Brayshaw’s.

His final words were with 19 trades left full recovery to a completed team is quite low and may continue to suffer from DBS for another 15 weeks.

Do I get a second opinion from another Doctor?? This guy below came up in search on Dr Google.

Oliver, Bice, Trainor

However, it leaves me with one of Boxshall, Kako or Hustwaite in flex, which is disgusting.

Leaves me no cash with 4 upgrades left and no rookies on the horizon but I do like the team on paper. Bice to Clark instead of Daniel to Merrett is an alternative but Merrett is the more proven premo so leaning that way.

Seems like Bews isn't really an option, guess B Allan some sort of chance, but kind of comes down to Fonti or El-Hawli

Cats backline is grim atm but Jed Bews would be a reach! Humphries and Stewart back this week and Jack Henry the following week, even if he stays in which he might, pass for me.
