El-Hawli vs Phillipou?

Is the chance that Philippi could be a Daniels type with a better bye and lower price worth it vs just getting El-Hawái and freeing up plus hopefully generating OK money?
El-Hawli this week depending on what your team looks like given you can get Pou next week.

Only thing that concerns me with El-Hawli is JS. I think he'll play enough to make $100k from here, but I could also see him being dropped/subbed between now and when he eventually maxes out.

If you've got the coverage on the def/mid bench, Saad for sure. If you don't, I'd probably lean towards Phillipou for safe points on the field.

Already have El-Hawli, thinking Flynn and Bice for Pou and Ryan.

Rather generate some extra cash and get Sinclair/Zorko, but it means doing one of 2 things:

I could trade Little Helmet instead of Flynn - don't like this because I don't trust Flynn's JS at all. West Coast subbed AReid over him on Saturday, but you'd have to think they'd prefer to pump games into him than Flynn. Little Helmet also still had 18 touches and 23 the week prior, so every chance a ton is just around the corner.

I could trade in a rookie instead of Pou this week - I like this even less than the above option. All of the rookies are likely to be dropped except maybe Simpson who I thought looked pretty shit tbh and I can't see him lasting much longer even if he survives this week. Sheldrick is the only one that could change this if he gets named on-field.

Not sure I see the appeal with the Pou.

He is $300k and not going to be a keeper. Best case you ride him to $400k but even that feels unlikely.

Helmet to Jiath
Cleary to fillerpoo
Some glorious MPM here.

Sad Doctor Who GIF

I view him as a solid M9/F7 keeper come end-of-season. Same deal for Kiddy in a few weeks once he returns but for my def bench.

Don't think Pou hitting $400k is unlikely at all though. He averaged about 95 when he came back into the side as a midfielder towards the end of last year. Seemed to be a lock for more midfield time this year before injuries in pre-season. As long as they get him back in the guts and he stays fit, I think $400k is a very safe bet. Fitness is the big concern though, I'm confident the role will be fine if his body can hold-up for a few weeks.

Some ppl traded in Maric at 300K .
He's going to stay in Kent's teams .

Just fyi. Daniels has the first byes. I know people are struggling for numbers. It is good week as any to flick him if you don't see him as a keeper.
Daniel has lost his mojo, plus half of his kick-ins and also isn't being used by the other North players.
I moved him on for Jiath, who has found good form. Mid/Def, 387k, !32, !35 his last 2 games, BE -31, projected score 91, R15 bye. Will start him in defence, but if a mid premo misses can be swung to mids. Have Byce in Flex.

Don't like SDK but gets his chance to shine, sharing the ruck. Will swap him for Flynn after this week till the ruck scene stabilizes, unless Flynn tons up. Could nearly have tonned this week, but dropped a kick-in mark in the last few minutes.

Heaps of value at the moment, particularly in defence. Zorko, Holmes, Dale but I like NVM and Sicily, who was timing his marks well. Kicking is heart in mouth stuff, though.

Agree its tricky. Generally late season midpricers a risky trading option when targeting full prem. If you hold Macrae and have NWM or Sinclair 3 saints starting in your team most weeks. Maric was one out of the box somewhat with his role.

Not sure if I should trade Lashcroft or Helmet?

Just feels wrong trading Helmet and I’m worried about trading Lashcroft to early.

I dunno.
You have to be upgrading them. Any on field rookies need to go up, not down imo

Maric is the true heir to Aaron Hall we have long been searching for.

All hail Super Gull Maric.

Yes in an ideal world but I’m running out of cash on the bench lol
Hold then, wait a week. More rookies will appear.

Don't make your team weaker. We are only 1/3 through the season remember.

Good advice.

I struggle being patient.

Been pumping out 2400s for fun lately so I should stick with what I’ve got for now.
Listen to our old friend Tommy-Two-Tracksuits a.k.a. Barry Roundhouse's advice

Ok so I can upgrade Bice to Zorko (can’t afford Whitfield) if I slaughter Cleary for that useless muppet Day Wick.
Then my forwardline bench will be completely screwed but atleast Bice became Zorko and my projected acore went up 😂

Find a different avenue. Do not go early on Wicks.
