I had a look at baker from WC seems value .
Love Bakes, he'll get thrown around to plug holes, though, always does.
If he ends up forward 🌵
Handy DPP and at the minute, it's midfield chop out and half back sauciness, bits I've seen 👍

Still got no idea what to do this week.

Potential outs -
Callaghan
Macrae
Hewitt
Cleary
Lask
Kako

Potential ins -
Leake
Visentini
1 or 2 mid's or forward's in the $500-550k range

Not sure if it's better to sideways both Finn/Macrae or just one and do an upgrade.

Tough week on the trade front .

If no stone but there is a leake.

Cash plus Carroll to Coleman next week.

Are you getting sexy Anderson?

Baker name seems pop up as value pick.
Not really a premo ...prob won't ever be one .
Only in his lunch box.

Anderson is on the list. Same price as Callaghan, good bye.

Yeah Carroll to Kiddy a smart play next week.

Problem with Rowell is:
Zerrett
Daicos
Serong
Edit: Butters, too
All at / going to be at very low prices soon and the chances they'll need a tradeout down the line is way lower

But I keep getting sucked back in by my toxic ex

Yeah, Bolton the other one to consider there, but he's broken my heart too many times.

Is Leake a risk for biscuit

Jelly , stormy Daniels, are they due back soon.
Jelly soonest, 1-2.
Others at least 3.
Last week's AFL emergencies will also be considered, so not just Leake, Rowston, Stone Cold to think about

I love the Red Bull, but I'm not riding that roller coaster again. Bont, Butters, Merrett, Serong all better options for my last couple of mid spots.

Thinking of ditching Trainor now. Swing SEH (if he becomes dead not the worst) and then plonking a mid in the guts. Any mid but Probs Dawson with his bye and his run.

Alternative is to upgrade Hall from Eagles or HH both dead rookie options.

Decisions decisions.

I'm most likely fading Bolton, but if there was ever a year for him to go on a run and average 100+ it would be this year. This season has made no sense. Players who had suffered pre season injuries but still played round one started on fire and havent looked like slowing down (Richards, Dale), Libba looked cooked last year now hes averaging 120 like 2024 didnt even happen. Steele Sidebottom randomly decided to become one of the best midfielders in the comp, Noah Anderson has been consistent, something even i would never have guessed. I laughed at people trading in Ash, yet here we are 8 weeks later and he's still on fire.

Am I crazy to even consider Rowell???

Go Crazy Wtf GIF
Not crazy. Personally not going there, but with cash gen being so bad, people need to be picking off some value options.

Should get a ~100 average for 465k (with a lot of ups and downs). Pretty decent buying, especially if you want to afford one of the big dogs with your last upgrade/s.

I'm one of the unlucky kents with Finn, JHF and Macrae.

Reckon I'm gonna hold Macrae, sounds like he'll be back after the Saints' bye anyway.

Finn, JHF, Bice/Hustwaite > Sinclair, Bolton, Simpson

Will mull over Bice/Hustwaite tomorrow. Kinda want to give Bice an opportunity to turn it around this week. Would be a good player to have through the byes if he can find form again. I'd just downgrade him to Coleman next week if he's disappointing again, though I don't want him to lose more cash.

I feel like such a hypocrite ....I posted this week, beware Bolton, due to his history of volatility

With high CBA's though, and with FREO needing his midfield speed ....it seems Bolton is being used in a similar fashion to Rankine ....copycats

My other rationale was .....it took Hewitt & Trainor off my field ...both bleeding cash ...and surely Bolton easily outscores Hewett against ADEL

I hold Macrae ...who becomes Butters in R13

I reckon a player as high risk/high reward as Bolton is a lot easier to stomach with the flex being introduced. Makes him a far more viable keeper rather than just a stepping stone.

Yes ...I have Marshall in my Flex, to cover volatile players like Bolton ....but as an F6, in this year, you could do worse

I mean that said, Nic Martin is far more volatile ....as is my Holmes

This is definitely my blue and gold glasses blinding me, but is it totally crazy to be considering Hough or Harley Reid as a quick cash grab (100k cheaper) instead of the more popular Bolton?

Both around 330k, Hough has gone 88 and 112 since his move to the middle (BE -3). Harley has 83 and 99 the last 2 weeks (BE of 13) and has shown last year he can score big in SC. And looks to have his fitness back to somewhere it needs to be finally

Probably won't go there but have toyed with the idea of either of them
