Not a great game of footy but we didn’t roll over like we may have in the past. The young guys played a big part - Moir, Carroll, Moo and Lord in particular.

We still need change but nice to see a bit of fight.

Oh and ruining that flog Oliver’s 200th is a bonus.

Some senior players stepped up tonight but for me it was the younger players who made great impact. Carroll and Moir impress me as they seem to possess good football brains; they are footballers more than athletes. We have lacked these types for a while.

you know what they say, good teams win ugly

had a bit of everything. not the least evans losing blood and teeth for his team.

stoked for the players. enjoy it. i've played in some absolutely shocking sides. we might be out of the finals and the future is uncertain around a few things but for the moment, footy will feel worthwhile again.

Just me or was there more of an emphasis on tapping the ball on to advantage, instead of going the possession and getting locked up, or was it just instinctual? Often seemed like out small forward types especially were doing it.
