Agree. Seemed an odd decision considering their current forward line & perpetually injured King.

So glad we picked him up. Stuff the Saints.

I think they wanted to focus on building the forward line around King, Sharman and Caminiti

Exactly. You think you are prepared, but footy can be cruel sometimes
Like we let Adams go end of 2023 when he could have been handy last year with our injuries.
Its the risk you take.

Pure athlete. His skills look good too. Once he gets some experience I think he’ll be a handy player

Can’t see it being next week as the club hasn’t announced any dates.

Yeah, I guess multi-position players are the way now anyway.

They had their reasons I suppose and wanted to go younger and put more game time into the youngsters. Guess they felt they needed to do something different to get out of the rut.

It sometimes turns out to be a mistake to throw out your favourite, well-worn toys for the promise of shiny new ones.

We’ve all been there.its a risk that sometimes works out or isn’t. But footy is full of risks and trying to work out the best mix.
Not our problem but will be interesting to see how their forward line goes this year.

Yeah it does look like a timeslot for solid match sim, but I believe it’ll just be that and nothing to do with the season launch as the club usually builds it up by posting a “save the date”.
I think we’ll do something different this year maybe closer to the season but who knows, I could be wrong!
