I am probably a little bit bias because I have been made privvy to how people inside the club are feeling about all this - But anyone sticking up for him or hoping that this does not play out again have blinkers on.
Not only was this handled poorly from the start from Baileys camp, but he has continued to low key crap on our club, even if some people try and justify it or make excuses for it.
Don't think I have ever had a pure dislike for a player who is still 'representing' our club as much as I do for Bailey. If he doesn't get traded today, I hope the team and leadership group let him know how they really feel.

I disagree. I would rather make a point of him and keep him to show contracts matter. If we trade him today it is going to show every out of state sook that all they have to do is have a tantrum and disrespect their club and they will get traded. . . This is not just for the greater good for our club but for everyone.
He either comes back and earns everyones respect - Or he comes back with the attitude he currently has and plays VFL for the year.

This. Tell him now we will trade him over the next two years, but the onus is on him to find a club to come to the party or else he can stay and be a pillar of his community from Carrara.
Not trading him tells the rest of the league, "if you want him next year, come with a deal that works for us". I'm fine with that.

He hasn't shown any signs of intelligence or maturity through all of this. Makes me wonder if clubs will cool on him just due to his attitude next year

I think young Bailey has shown very clearly this off season he isn't very smart at all. Good luck to him if he heads back to Melbourne. The Vic Media would eat him alive. It ain't Moe there.

JUH situation has not been great. But also blown out by Victorian media. Getting him up here out of the spotlight is a good thing. And on potential if he finds it, he would be debatably our best forward. Partner that with Jed, we have the best forward pairing since Buddy and Roughy.
That is not taking into account we also have the runner up Coleman medalist
