Can't say I get the Draper inclusion. If you're fit enough for SANFL trial, you're fit enough for an AFL trial (with an extended bench).

Bit like the Wardlaw complaints North received last week.

Managed minutes, lower intensity game

Feels like a baby step for him

When would be the earliest we see him at AFL level this season I wonder?

Bloodbath as you would expect with our outs. Eagles transitioning far too easily.

Sid understandably looks rusty. Foot fumbly but couple of nice bursts of speed. Strachan playing defence and been ok. Welsh competing well aerially. Ryan non-existent. Cotton getting some pill but very hesitant.

Sid better that quarter, some real nice gives in tight. Borlase our best - took at least three intercept grabs. ROB just ok, struggling at centre bounce vs Lukac. Bell been underwhelming.

Top-ups turnovers are killing us. And there is a lot of them.

Yep

Flew back after a sub appearance and played on the Sunday.

Then was rested the next week from memory.

He did his PCL in July, at that time Cal had him at 16 in his Power Rankings (Marsh at 8).

Much better quarter although Eagles took a few senior players off.

Big quarter from Drury. Maley some great marks playing primarily in the ruck, though he did have one absolute shank that invited comments from the WWT dregs on the sidelines. O’Brien played forward and was solid. Ryan very quiet though at least he’s playing the game out.

I do! Struggles one-on-one in the air (only 18 and skinny) but he’s showing more and more confidence with his hands and has a good ground level game.

Had dinner at the Mosaic Hotel (terrible BTW) and drove past the game. Pulled into a park and saw the score. Went home e after about 5 minutes.

Don’t care to watch 60% top up players.

Best was Borlase. Drury, Maley, O’Brien and Ludowyke with some good moments. Ryan had a good last quarter.
