Haha you're preaching to converted, I've watched every game Ethan has played for the Rebels....he's top end talent especially considering he's playing in a fairly average Talent League team in the Rebels this season....made up with a lot of underagers.

is it just me or are the Talent League teams playing more under agers than ever before this season?

I was sold round 1, just stands out with his movement (just so smooth) and constantly gets first hands on the ball at stoppages, probably had another 7+ clearances today.

I think my biggest concern is his core strength and ability to stand up/clear his arms/break through tackles, but he is a great size you'd imagine that'll come.

The u16s champs for the 2027 crop looked really strong especially vic metro and vic country, it looked to have a deep crop of talent, this years crop seems better than last years and 2027 seems even better, from a projection stand point from what i can see and ive heard similar opinions from other junior football watchers on youtube ect

dont get me wrong, they look strong (2027 crop) just think the 2026 crop is being left high and dry for the amount of underages being played.

I think that probably speaks volumes that clubs are more wllling to expose these bottom agers because on a talent case. its far greater than the 2026 crop.

I reckon he has a decent teammate in Archie Elliott, looks a quality forward prospect.

VC = Extremely talented top end
SA = Extremely talented top end
NSW & QLD = exciting prospects in all teams

This Academy game has been rough. I don't like to read too much into these games, but they've been uncompetitive for stretches. Usually even if there are nerves and skill issues the effort is there.
