Receiving an extra pick at the end of the first round is so handy. Allows us to take HVH at 1 if he is the best player after bidding on walker. Then you would assume pick 19 gets moved out to say 20-25 range so we should have two other top 30 picks with our second. Can really draft for needs at that point to fill list gaps.

He says the game is always getting faster, it’s about contests and speed.

He actually says a lot about the underlying philosophies of our recruiting if you listen, speed and competitiveness, and to be fair in the last two drafts we’ve got that in spades in our recruits.

Hotton, Cumming, Grlj, Alger, Peuker, NRT

Competitive
Lalor, Smillie, Jonty, Trainor, Cumming and Grlj.

And I’m probably being a little harsh on Armstrong, Hotton, Alger, Peuker, and NRT in competitiveness.
