Hi all,
Not sure what the correct place for this is, haven't flicked through all threads.
Is there a recommended podcast for a pre-season summary this year?
Any particular content provider(s) making the running?
Looked quickly yesterday but doesn't seem like much around (couldn't see any JD, Jords, Dr SC, those types)

DRSC is paywalled now. JD largely retired. Jords and Eno have done a few pods recently. Assume there will be another couple in the next week.

Could give the Coaches Panel a try, if you are struggling for sleep?

First year playing Supercoach. Asked the same question in the Fantasy pages too, what would you consider a typically accepted breakdown of players in the three different price brackets across your 31 man team to start a season? Is there a predominantly agreed upon figure for each or thereabouts?

Changes from year to year depending on where the value is but a range would be

500k+ 7-11
200-500k 5-10
<200k 13-16

Yeah, seems like a couple of videos got released the last 1-2 days. Watched 1-2 in spurts.
Mystery solved with Dr SC, was wondering why they didn't seem.to.be as prominent.
The Coaches Panel is good, will have a look for some sort of.summry from them, good shout

There's never been so many Podcasts around .....some are with Patreon, but they still have a mountain of free youtube

Dr SC (SuperCoach Swordplay) is best .....but Janath Fernando is the Guru though

The Centre Bounce and SuperCoach Insight ....also great listening

I balance my listening with AFL Fantasy Podcasts, which have a different perspective on players:

PodPod is the best ....on Apple Podcasts
AFL Fantasy Hat Chat .... also on Apple Podcasts
Ball Boys ....youtube

And of course Coaches Panel on Youtube

Some have gone off the boil .....but all the best content providers are giving us a feast of material

We have 40 trades. But it seems like somewhat of a waste. But then I feel like everyone wastes 34 trades minimum doing stupid shit - this one is kinda stupid but I can see it maximising captain options & helping through what is an otherwise tough couple of bye weeks for premo mids.

Yeah, they seem to have come with a rush this week. Haven't consumed much of it, but there's been a fair bit since I started looking over the last few days.
Makes sense
Caught a bit of the swordplay one today, only listened to half, but was handy as a catch-up.
Actually picked a first side mostly off ownership and a few names I had in mind/ that had seemed to pop-up preseason and it wasn't disgracefully far off, think the crowd is much better informed these days.

What’s everyone’s opinion on picking premiums with early byes, especially for someone who’s playing mostly for cash leagues?

Would love someone to rationalise if H2H leagues means I should worry about avoiding byes more/less?

If your leagues start round 3 then you can comfortably get r2 bye players but you'd want to minimise the other early bye players to one or two per round at most I'd say
