It feels one of those drafts that is top 4 then falls away a heap also and is quite even. Im wary that with pick 5 Indiana would have just been taking another scoring guard anyway which feels like not a huge needle mover for them .

Would just like to point out that we acquired Indy's 2026 pick with top 4 protection in the Ingram trade.

We then flipped that back to Indy for their 2025 pick - a day or two before Hailburton did his Achilles in the Finals.

Indy sent it to the Clippers in the Zubac trade. It became pick 5, the most valuable possible pick to beat the protection.


So we traded pick 5 and pick 8 for Derik Queen, who was pick 13. Outstanding.
