K park pool had always treated me well

I got Matt Scarlett to sign my hat back in 2003 at k park pool.

Coincidence we were at the pool at the same time.

I spotted Gaz Snr at a match back when both his sons were playing.

No one was around him at all, got my cap signed. Lovely guy. Way too nervous to initiate any kind of conversation tho lol.

I’m getting reserves seats this year, most likely in the reg Hickey. I also used to sit in the old Brownlow stand on the wing. Good fun.

Sat next to bobby Davis with my pa once, had a chat to him. Just before he passed too.

I must be the only person who follows AFL to prefer to sit behind the goals.

You get 25k just to turn up and play in the first round.
Not sure where Tomic resides these days but he'd have to pay for his flight and accommodation so I guess 20k isn't really worth it in the grand scheme of things.
Shame the way his career has panned out. Certainly had all the attributes to become a perennial top 20 player but maybe just that lack of desire got in the way.
