On a serious note, It's not nice when games are decided by BS free kicks. The game is stuffed and the umpiring is worse every year.

Not sure why CarK-Ton supporters are complaining. The umpires have missed a few for Adelaide. In fact, they should be further in front.

This game reaffirms why I don’t really care much about afl anymore.

My interest in the game has dropped 90%.
This game shows why.

it’s literally now down to who gets the best 50/50 frees.
What I find even more bizarre is that the supporters and media just accept it.

How can you favour pace of the game over accuracy of decisions?
Reminds me of cricket in the 80’s when run outs were available on TV, but nothing else was.

It’s actually amusing how bad the game actually is.
Luck of the draw as to whether this high contact is paid va the next one.

Bizarre.

Easily the worst officiated pro league in the world. Name another that is worse officiated?
Such a shame.

I don't care as much for Carlton as you do. I don't care if they have been *** over.
I experienced their hospitality during the 80's and 90's. And during our GF losses and especially when the umpires screwed us.

There is no other competition called elite which is as shambolic as ours and when Tassie comes in it is only going to get worse in standard, confusion around draw, ambushing of draft etc. etc. Time for fans to vote with their feet and wallets.

I tend to agree with you.

I hate the constant rule changes. I absolutely hate the "stand" rule because now when you watch a game on TV you're just bombarded with the umpires yelling "stand" every 30 seconds. Then take 1 step and it's a 50m penalty.

I don't mind changes that are designed to protect the health and wellbeing of the players, but stand and last touch can GAGF.

And personally, I am also finding the game less enjoyable as a spectator sport.

I can't get over how Neal Bullen got away with deliberately handball it into the shin of a Carscum player to make it rebound across the boundary line, and then gets rewarded with a shot on goal (which he then converted).

That was just farcical.

Should have been a boundary throw in, because Bullen deliberately contrived for the ball to go out on the full, so should not be rewarded.

The clear throw of Rachele in Carlscum's forward line was likewise a total fiasco of umpiring integrity.

They replay boundary line decisions where the ball ricochets of a guy;s shin to determine whether or not it is a "Lassoo" free, but a clear throw in F50 from a defender receives no such scrutiny??

The game will be f***ed unless umpires with the ability to exercise some degree of intelligence (and moral strength) are recruited.
