Wouldn't touch McGrath or Rivers; don't know what Zane Duursma is doing there; Cooper Simpson is a far better option for me. I think you pick one of Sheldrick or Harley. Don't know what Hustwaite is doing there; I know rookies are placeholders, but you don't need to be spending $200k on a midfield rookie. In the forward line, I think Kozzy Pickett is better than both Darcy and Tracc. Maybe Tracc pumps the early run, but there's so many mouths to feed at the Suns.

Something like this, potentially:

Out: McGrath, Rivers, Duursma, Sheldrick, Hustwaite, H. Sharp.

In: Simpson, Lindsay, Butters, Pickett, D. Sharp, Marshall.

No major changes for me for a while. M2 keeps rotating, Suns having the early bye is bad, but that early draw is sweet.

Just a matter of waiting for the inevitable preseason injuries to surface, and see which rookies look the best.

I heard somewhere that Marshall is training as a defender. Juicy pick if that’s the case!

V2. Structure seems very similar to everyone else, but fine with that. Hopefully it means I’m on the right track!

Going in with Treloar, Young, Parish, Wardlaw and Kiddy scares the shit out of me, but I expect at least one of those will become a rookie or premo before the start of the season.

Nice team, you would obviously have your reasons for so many $300k-$400k players, could be a winner.

Just a small query on structure, with Treloar in the mids it effectively means that you think that your F6 will outscore M9 and I'm not sure that's the case.

Trying to play the value game as much as possible this season. All those players obviously come with risk and I doubt they will all be in my team come round 1 - but it's a starting point.

Not sure I understand the structure comment. Can you explain?? Are you saying shift Treloar into the forward line? Can't say I even saw he was DPP when I put him in, but it's a good point.

If you move Treloar forward then Brodie or Schoenberg come onto the field, Macrae or Draper moves to mid bench and Lombard moves to forward bench. Basically saying that Brodie/Schoenberg would score more on field than Lombard. Only a small tweak.

Most rooks are placeholders but very keen on Xavier Taylor.

Need to change some of those rookies.

I do like your defence but midfield needs work.
TBF, my defence looks good because my midfield needs some work 😂

Don't really see the appeal of Steele. It's not like he wasn't getting mid time last year and his body is clearly cooked.

I didn't play finals last year so don't have access to the team picker. First year off from supercoach since it started. Bought SC premium a few weeks ago and I couldn't get access :(

Any chance someone would be able to click, drag and copy/paste all the players & prices from the scroll bar into a google sheets doc and share with me?

I built a team picker in Gemini because I need to scratch the itch!

Ty in advance to anyone who would be so kind. The doc doesn't need to be formatted, a straight copy/paste will be more than fine.

I have had him in most of my teams so far. He was definitely out of favour with Ross and was played out of position a few times as well as being the sub in one game. I don't think he is cooked and neither do the Demons he was signed until the end of 2028. He is priced at 94 and he will be better than that by how much who knows but there won't be much competition for points in that midfield so he could go 105+ and end up as a decent M8.

He's a bit of a placeholder tbh. He's probably a trade out at some point, but I can see him starting well. No early bye a big plus too.

It's just a matter of how many of these sort of picks I want to start (non-keepers)

LDU vs Steele? Similar price point, both no early bye. I’m weighing up both as my starting M4. LDU should be a 110 guy and was in 2024 and 2023, he’s priced at like 97 after a pretty poor year. Signed a long term deal and in the leadership group now. Does he bounce back?

500k is a lot for a non keeper.

That depends on how well they score. If Steele averages 100 up until his R16 bye then you have got more than what you paid for and he will probably be around the same price. At that stage he will be an easy Sideways trade to an underpriced SP that has already had their bye and it only costs 1 trade.

I have never owned LDU but have always loved the Melts :p

That's true, but if he can go 100+ through to his bye he's done his job.

Flip side is he goes at 80 odd and bleds points to the likes of Day around the same price. No early bye helps even that out a bit, but it's still a problem as he'll be a liability in upgrade season.
