Put it this way – he's far from perfect, but I'd sooner spend $365k on him than I would $460k on JHF, $470k on Touk, and $450k on Bailey etc.

If cash isn't an issue for your team, there's obviously better options, but alas, cash (and trades) are very much an issue for me, so I'm just gonna grab him.
I’m with you here. I feel like all those guys will average around 90 for the remainder of the season and Durham is $100k cheaper.

With 13 trades and 59k left, I’m looking at Anderson > HHK and Poo > any mid 545k or under.

Haven’t watched GWS much but Oliver seems to be more consistent than Callaghan but he also would leave me with less spare change. Neale is in the middle and has a good run, I usually hate bringing in players before their bye but I think that bye is alright for me (No Roberts, Heeney or Grundy)

Opinions appreciated

With injuries and some poor choices in hindsight I think I have to accept that I'm just not likely to get to 22, 23 premos this year. I am actually just really lost right now. My initial thoughts were just Anderson to LDU but now with the JMac plus Tom Stewart injuries and all the concern over Xerri I think I just need to do something to get some points this weekend. Happy to take on board any tips or alternate choices. This will leave me with 8 trades remaining and 219k in the bank:

If you're worried about not finishing your team, I'd suggest looking for value this week, rather than spending nearly $1.1 million on two premos.

Ash is still pretty good value, but maybe ahead of Dawson, have a think about midfield options like Parker ($473k, 103 avg, great draw, handy DPP), or wait a week on your Newcombe/Day/Serong types for sub-500k.

Either get Durham this week at F6 or wait until after his bye, gives you a much-needed cheapie to finish off.

I also would consider holding Stewart given it should only be a one-weeker.

Who would everyone rather keep for the rest of the season: Houston at D6 or Murdock at F6?

Leaning the latter as I feel way more defenders who can avg 100+ (and also have clark at D5 lol)

Same issue I'm facing – also leaning Murdock for that reason.

Would either be Ash and Murdock or Houston and Bolton/Warner. Prefer the former I think.

11, 16, 23 and 14 possessions in his four VFL games this year – not sure I'd be bringing him in before Lake given the fact that Lake is a few years older and at least has DPP.

i feel lake gets like 2-3 games ands put back down, and will get a contract for next yr

liked his game and think he does add value and is diiferent for us

but think he'll prob be a dead one in a few weeks from an sc perspective

Would you rather kiss your mother or sister?

More seriously at least Murdock has DPP and is closer to the other options available. You could pick up a Def like Parker or Wilkie for 460K who can average 100 in the run home. There are only 3 fwds averaging 100 this yr.

Quite possibly, but the DPP will still be handy

Same combinations for me and yea I think I rather go up to Ash and cheap out up forward in Durham and co

They are great ins

Juzzy defs trade but maybe wait on Stewart, alot can happen the next few weeks.
Trades are gold for now. If it gets you ash though...
I'm going ash this week too, but only 1 trade, sitting on my 10 trades like a loving mother goose to her eggies

I also thought he looked good for you blokes last week and confortable at the level. Roscoe will drop him though and that is the only thing putting me off as I have Banfield and Henry pooing on my bench.

Im looking at Kentyfield for the Dees instead, should hold his spot for a bit while Checkers is out.

Durham is hard to trust, Solomon taking over as caretaker, Dons trialling lots of things and putting a lot of warm bodies through the midfield, my worry is he’s shut down or moved about a lot.

I grabbed Hall two weeks ago - bloke is a gun. CBA numbers rising in the last month, good blend of inside and outside game, averaging 105 in that period (101, 102, 90, 128).
Rd 10 onwards he’s been at 65% CBA’s or higher. If bye isn’t an issue, easy pick for me
I’m thinking Hall too, but would you pick him over JHF?

yeah that's fair. i guess im just thinking even if stewart just misses the one game, it means 0, maybe 60-100, 0 again over 3 weeks. while ash could probably give me at least 95, 95 ,95 over the same time.
maybe for now I will stick with just dropping Jmac and Anderson, cheers :)

Got 15 trades (1 boost)
$38k bank.
3 upgrades to go (in fwd) + flex.

Should I sideways Stewart?
Looking at Parker/Wilmot/McCarthy value.
Or im considering just no trades this week. Will grab HHK and best rookie next week, and upgrade Jagga/Murdock/Tiger Rookies.
I have been debating the same, but I have 4 less trades than you. So I would say it's probably safer for you to sideways him compared to me! :)
