The trading train waits for no one, so with the corpse of the Round 2 Trades thread not even cold yet, it’s time to start thinking about trades for Round 3.
Let’s put some names forward for discussion shall we…
Grundy - 88
Saved his score as it turned out, and you’ll probably have bigger problems by the end of the round than dumping Brodie. Still, two underwhelming scores and hemorrhaging cash. There are worse rage trades you could make.
The entire Hawthorn side -
Fantasy poison for the opposition and can barely score themselves. If you have any of them, trade.
Cook - 48
Hands up if you traded in this ghost? Well trade him straight back out again, I’m positive he doesn’t actually exist.
Budarick - 68
Scored just enough to make cash but not enough that you’d have any temptation to hold him through his bye. Thanks Connor, you’ve done your job, now get lost.
Rachele - 70
Scored fine, but I promise it’s so much nicer not having to see his face when you open the Fantasy app.
Milera - 74
He didn’t get injured, and he didn’t score under 50. Trust me, get rid of him while you can still avoid one of those two things happening.
English - 84
Huh. Maybe all those people who said the rucks would be rubbish this year were right, but IT WASN’T SUPPOSED TO BE THE MOBILE ONES. Loves to strut around doing absolutely nothing does Timmy, then loves to prance off to the interchange bench for a well earned break from all that uselessness. Horrible footballer.
Petracca - 69
Apparently just “awareness”. Do we trust that, and assume he’ll be back for the game against the Dees straight after his bye? Or do we trade in case he’s out for longer? Big call.
Phillipou - 31
You convinced yourself last week’s 30-something score only happened because he was injured didn’t you? Nah, he’s perfectly capable of notching one up when he’s fit as well.
Windhager - 73
A fraud masquerading as a premo. There are rookies scoring more than this that cost almost $700,000 less.
Serong - 64
This is the problem with Caleb. A tagger so much as breathes on him and suddenly he thinks that’s an excuse to have an eighteen point first half. I’m not even exaggerating, look it up.
Windsor - 49
When will we ever learn with picks like this?? We only have about 20 seasons worth of evidence that they don’t work. Dump this guy and never look back.
Rozee - 72
Blakiston - 44
A pair of utterly useless scores and yet somehow this spud will survive in most sides for a week or two longer courtesy of carnage elsewhere.
Parish - 68
See above.

. Besides I could never sit on a seat and push buttons at work the way you do. That's skill, and all those people, oblivious......
