Rachele getting hard to ignore now... He's fast approaching "must-have" before he's over $500k. Has top 3 forward potential. He looks bloody fit, credit to him for putting in the work and getting fit.

Hoping for a 95-105 tonight so he doesn't rise too much...

IDK who -> someone who won't be a late out

I was initially gonna upgrade Houston to Worrell/Whitfield but I’m thinking keep Houston for the moment and trade Jordan Clark for Worrell. I get his a prem but 2 scores of 75 & 46 is a disaster for a premium and not worth the inconsistency.

Your first steps should be upgrading your rookies. I would probably hold him for the time being and see if you can start upgrading dem wookies asap

This is crazy. You’ll be out of trades by July with a team still fielding rookies and midpricers. If Clark ends up being your D5/6 you’ll be going fine.

JDG has been a disaster starter for me

Any chance he can get back to some decent form.

He seems to be rushing his attack on the ball to me - any thoughts on his form?

This is one of the most bizarre posts I’ve seen in a while. Don’t sideways trade either Houston or Clark. You’re gonna run out of trades with a half complete team.

Ah, yes, that 😃

Probably just Windsor > Coleman

I ended up keeping Windsor & trading Parish as im playing the BE game & Parish frustrates me more than Windsor somehow. I do have $109,000 in the bank. If Schoenberg or Farrow look really good i can consider downgrading Bruhn but i think unless he goes <70 against the Hawks, im happy to keep him.

I wouldn’t say it’s bizarre. Granted I’m not the greatest SC player but wanna win my work comp, isn’t the whole play to get the right premiums and let them stay and get the right rookies to generate the cash to get a team of premiums.

Now Clark and Houston may be fine for D5 & D6 with Worrell, Sinclair (my D1) and Ash/Whitfield but it was more is Clark & Houston with their inconsistencies worthy of a D5/6 status.

But I appreciate the advice on focusing on rookie upgrades not sideway trades.

It can be very tempting to rage trade players off a bad score but the fella's are right, it's a recipe for running out of trades with only 18 premo's in your team and coping donuts in the last few rounds.

If your focus is on your work league you really want to conserve as many trades as possible and pick off the cheap premo's when the drop in price.

I have Clark too and it's very frustrating, but he just had one of those games where everything went around him. Focus on upgrading and maybe you can get rid of him later when your team is complete :thumbsu:

You're correct ....however, there are distinct differences between premo performances in the 1st half of the season ...and the second half

The big scoring premo's MAY NOT have emerged yet ......remember, Wanganeen-Milera only emerged in the 2nd half of last season .....Grundy as well

So having trades up your sleeve, to jump on these players is more important in the 2nd half of the season, than after R4

If we look at the 2025 season retrospectively .....most players have had horror rounds, and we accept those rounds, preferring the overall ave / cumulative points

It's just in the emotion of each round, we don't accept the horror rounds ..... so taking a big picture perspective, although hard, is the better option
