Something tells me Gather Round is going to throw up just as many rage trade candidates as any normal week. Here’s what we’ve got so far:

J.Smith - 57
Not going to be that season-long keeper rookie we were hoping for. Might still have some cash to make but needs to go soon.

Newman - 70
A nice cheap defender that has the potential to score like a premium… is most certainly not what Nic Newman is. You get what you pay for sometimes.

Dawson - 85
Remember when this guy used to score 115+ without breaking a sweat? Feels like a long time ago.

Walsh - 99
Was on 40-something at quarter time and still couldn’t score a ton. The bloke looks dead set allergic to them sometimes.

Houston - 59

Bolton - 64
WHY DID I DO THIS. I am dreadful at this game.

J.Daicos - 76
Second time in a row he’s done that. Needs to spend the week watching video replays of Luke Ryan’s 121 in the same game. Now that is how you seagull.

Brayshaw - 86
Not awful but very meh.

Serong - 85
See above

Scerri - 9
I don’t even know how he scored that many because I didn’t see him once. Nobody’s ever seen him. He doesn’t even have a tax file number. I’m telling you, he doesn’t exist.

Zorko - 29
Ouch. Can we get just one week when a popular premium doesn’t get injured? Knowing the Fantasy gods whoever you replace him with will probably get injured next week too. Don’t walk under any ladders Archie Roberts.

Anderson - 55
Genuinely just not a premium anymore. Damien Hardwick and high scoring midfielders don’t mix.

Budarick - 64
Well and truly done his job - time to go now. Might be your downgrade ticket to Angry Anderson if you can get some DPP action happening.

Richards - 91
Depends how bad the injury is. Sounds like he’s a test for next round and owners have avoided a forced trade two weeks in a row. What a legend.

Miers - 60
Continually relies on massive second halves to save his score and this week he didn’t get one.

Robertson - 59
Sounds like he’s out for the year. Wonderful, another forced trade.

Fonti - 59
Been a good pick for those that went there but it looks like the time is approaching to move him on.

who for tho

If Blamires gets another 50 he's on my hit list.

Also thinking about Grlj but his D/P status and apparent rock solid job security may keep him in the side for now.

Trying to decide if we get Farrow this week and still get Anderson next week with 600k+ again or pay up for Ashcroft and miss Farrow and get Anderson next week...
You have to take Farrow...sorry, you shouldn't, IMO

Next week my trades will be Blakiston, Watkins, for Anderson, Ashcroft (480 itb)

Started McAndrew R3, so English out, Blackiston to R3, Grjl back to def, Naicos in. Then dunno yet, prob another premo gets injured and I trade them.

Had Blakiston and Windsor planned to be out for potentially Anderson and a premo (Whit, Washcroft, Nas, Heeney etc) but got damn Bolton almost has to go
Think I’ll give him a couple more chances with his next 2. The role is there, just has no idea

Anderson 100 percent locked as a downgrade (Either for Cook or Blamires)

Took Butters down to Neale as a budget in this week, so have 122k to play with prior to trades.

Think I'm stuck with Harley now as I need to get rookies upgraded. We'll see how all of them go but there's a lot of candidates. (Please no carnage....)

McCluggage back in the mix this week. Will be interesting to see what happens with Ashcroft given he’s been their best player the last 2 weeks.

Neale and Dunks can't play anywhere else so they'll be the main 2, and Clug has been their 3rd mid for a couple of years, unless they prioritise Washcroft as the third mid still and ease Clug back in. If they throw Clug back in the middle straight away I think Washcroft drops back to the 50-60% CBA mark from last year. Also I wouldn't be surpised if he becomes the new tag target.

Rowell for instance looked incredibly rusty on return last week.

Dunkley could be the one. More versatile than the rest. Does leave the midfield without balance though.

Interesting times trying to fit all 4 into the rotation given Ashcroft looks ready to explode whereas Neale is probably in his last year at the Lions

Either way all four are value options. Tossing up between Neale and Wash as my second in this week

Can I wait a week for Anderson? I feel like I can, he'll prob still only be around 310k.

English > cheap r3;
Lombard > Heeney/another promo mid

He'll be 285k after this week with a BE of -22. On the site it says hes projected score is 68 next week and if he hits that he'll go up 76k next week.

Could still grab him but would be missing the biggest price rise

Tough one. I feel like I need to start upgrading and cash in on English rather than have $1m sitting on the bench. Will see how the weekend plays out with injuries etc.

I have Xerri still sitting there (and 400k itb) so in a similar spot

Blakiston (if you have him) will get ruck status next week so hes going to R3 for me and Xerris turning into Baz (most likely).
