Shocking week for loophole with both my rucks plus cerri playing friday night. Only vc I can have is Daicos. C will be Jackson, Butters or Bont. No doubt I'll pick the worst one.

Definitely looking at a Friday night VC in Jackson or Butters.

HTAs against the Dogs since English went down: 17 (Grundy/LMac), 10 (Edwards/Blitz), 21 (Meek/Reeves)

Bont (141), Smith (172) and Neale (132) have been the only ones in the comp to put 130+ on the Crows midfield, so I think early days I'll go Jackson even though Butters is on a level with those three.

Still working through captains, options are Sheezel, Holmes, Sinclair, Pickett, Trac/Whitfield

Probably can't put a whole lot of stock into the numbers on a Wednesday. For instance, Gawn and Grundy combine for ~30% of the VCs, yet both play in the second last game of the week (with no common captaincy options in the last game).

Still, will be an interesting week. A lot (myself included) will be relying on Jackson, I imagine.

I've said Jackson into Neale, but it was a toss-up whether I was going Bont over Jackson instead.
Actually leaning that way now. Can't doubt the great man. Still like 7% POD Neale vs Essendon as captain.

Tough choice this week, a lot of options, as I have a Sunday loop I’ve got a bit more freedom.

With English apparantly good to go, the decision to VC either Jackson or Bont becomes a lot tougher. I feel like Jackson is more reliable but has less upside than Bont. Bont still isnt 100% but he scored 135 last round and with English back in, there is always the chance he goes huge.

Given i dont feel great about a captain option - yes ive got options in NAS, Grundy, Sheez, Holmes - i am wondering whether i take what i feel is the safer 120+ VC option in Jackson instead of going for what i think is the more risk/reward proposition in Bont...or if i go Bont and be a bit more prepared to fall back on a captain option if he fails. With English back, if i thought Bont was 100% i would be locking him in.

Suddenly, i feel the decision is much tougher!
