Liked the look of Cootee's ticker, got involved in a number of our attacks from what I was able to watch. Hope he builds some consistency and keeps fit. Snell's had a solid start to the season. Shows some great poise with ball in hand too, really starting to push for a debut.

I like how Snell zones off his player and is quite good at reading the game and intercepting.

Dattoli is breathing down the neck of Rosas and Corey.

was a class above and turned the game in the 3rd in the forward line, then went back in the last to settle things down.

Kyle did some nice things and I can see him getting a few senior games later in the year.

What a tackle. Hope he's ok. I love the way he plays. He has class and toughness

I love his arrogance of flying for everything early in the game, no matter how far he was away from the ball. He is nowhere near fit enough but I like him as a prospect.

i got to watch a reserves game properly today, and yes, those three looked really solid ... first time i've seen bowman, that i can remember, and thought he looked really composed, impressive
snell looks a smart player
and i thought a few others showed plenty too ... kyle, dattoli, phillipou, cootee, hanily ...

Makes even more sense why they wanted to give McLean (and others) a game rather than take him (them) to Perth. Just have to hope Brodie didn’t fall out of bed last night, or stub his toe walking along Cottesloe beach.

What happened to Hanily? he looked okay in 2025 kicked 6 goals from 8 games averaged ~10 disposals a game reasonable for a first year small forward.

Man that 2024 draft i tell ya.. think i rather pretend we traded out all our picks

Add Hamling to that defensive group and it should be one of the best in the VFL.

My guy just had probably the best game of his career when I was calling for his debut. Will look like nothing if Ramps shuts down his opponent, but think Snell's name will be a talking point at the selection meeting next week

I am still worried that none of our young guys are really standing out in the reserves. Our best players are still the older players who we know are not great at an AFL level.

I really think we have shat the bed in the last 5 or so years when it comes to drafting.

Also it was only an okay game. 2 goals and 10 disposals or whatever it was is sort of expected at a VFL level for a small forward player hoping to play at an AFL level.
