Does anyone know the rules regarding paying a portion of the salary of the bloke you're trading away? The dogs did it with Griffen and and Carlton did it with Fev.

If Carlisle only wants St Kilda for the coin this would open up a lot of options for you.

If you had to pick between St Kilda and Hawthorn on equal coin it would be a pretty easy choice.

When you're potentially getting 15 & 18 for a bloke that's realistically worth one of those picks, Dodoro would be stupid to say no.

The salary cap is a farce, it is living on borrowed time.

and yet the only time anyone asked questions was the COLA stuff, which got turned into a way bigger fuss while the actual cap got no attention.

The Hawks have a tight salary cap for next year but are expected to have more room the following season with the retirement of older players and an increase in the total player payments from the new collective bargaining agreement.
