Reading the last 5 pages and the 10 on the Saints' board upon my return the same time has been a surreal experience...

If the reports of Jake agreeing to play at the Hawks for 60K less per year if the deal couldn't get done at the Saints is true, I wish him all the very very best, and assuming we're not in the picture for a flag (hah) will be jumping on the Fivethorn bandwagon. He's literally done everything you'd ask for from a player requesting a trade, and they've made it possible.

TBH a large part of me is still having trouble accepting this as reality.
