Essendon has REJECTED St Kilda's offer for Jake Carlisle. Advantage Hawthorn.

Except for the fact that he is obviously not worth pick 5, as shown by you accepting 15 and 18, and we were working on a deal that would provide you with a pick that is fairer in the 8-12 region.

Would prefer the 2 picks and keeping our second round to be honest. You want a gun KPD who has shown how he can swing forward and dominate against two diminished backlines it'll cost you a lot. You want Collingwood's pick 10 from 2 years ago, it'll cost you a lot.

Pick 5 for Carlisle and 41, then you have to package up your second and a player for Freeman.

For a club that showed a bit of dash and excitement this year and proved that rock bottom of the rebuild has passed some clever trading will maximise the drafting you have done. This trade period could prove disastrous if you leave the players you lured hanging. Many players will be put off by it in the future.
