Most normal people might drink too much alcohol, that's about it..

With that sort of responsibility and high pay of a player like Carlisle, especially..
I'd say 80% of the players in the league would have dabbled in illicit substances before.

Tons of money to piss away............what do you expect?

Something ironic i realised as well - When we traded Lovett to St.Kilda for 16 we ontraded pick 16 for Williams and 24. That 24 pick became Carlisle. Then years later we trade Carlisle to them for pick 5. So it all goes back to that first trade.
Who became pick 16?

It isn't better but at least it's legal.
Not to turn this into an ethical debate on drug use, but seriously. Alcohol abuse is the direct cause of more deaths, injuries, accidents, fights, assaults, sexual assaults than cocaine and all other illicit drugs.

Just because someone decided at one stage that something is illegal or legal does not make it right or wrong. It's his offseason, if he wants to use cocaine I have no issue with it at all.

The only problem is allowing someone to record it, that is the sill thing here.

Jesus christ who ****ing cares. It sounds like you really have your head in the sand about what goes on in the world, let alone in celebrity sports culture.
We did amazingly out of this deal, and if you think an outgoing player doing a line is going to do any more damage after the last three years of asada/wada garbage then you're completely deluded.

So sick of this ****ing club and it's idiot player dragging us dow...what's that? He doesn't play for us anymore? Well then.

You need to get some perspective here, my dear friend "Mootsy", if indeed that is your real name.

Imagine this - you're young, you're on a bucket-load of cash, millions of people know who you are, you have a guinea-pig named Hugo, women want you and men want to be you.

But ... enough about me, my point is - there is very little that is "normal" about the life of an AFL footballer.

You need to change your username now that we know Jake prefers Coke.:)

How is it any different to a manager not fully disclosing the extend of their player's injury?

Deceptive but definitely not enough grounds to warrant reversing a trade.
The club probably haven't got a clue. I doubt he's a coke fiend. I reckon its a poor thing to do in front of people while in the middle of a 700k job negotiation, but thats Jakey and Saints problem not ours. Luckily it didn't come out Monday or it would have been our problem.

You mean like Hawthorn with Jonathan Hay? :D

He's not the backline messiah, he's just a very naughty boy.
