wasnt he tagging Day in round 1? He may have not had a big impact himself but did a good job negating Day who was close to BoG the week before.
I reckon he'll get the job on Rozee tonight too. There's no way we let him run free after last time! He's been in red-hot form. You'd imagine Drew to Merrett also, even with Merrett at half-forward or half-back.

So the game we played against these guys last time was the game we played against the crows last week.

We just let the Port midfield literally do whatever they wanted.

We seem to have 1 or 2 of these games a year so you'd be concerned if we saw it again tonight.

I posted in the wrong goddamn thread.
it’s because you are a young and inexperienced poster, but you’ve just got to keep posting and work through it

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'd give Duz a couple of weeks back on a wing. Caddy needs another forward with leading patterns so send Jones there. Durham's running power would allow him to get back and support the defenders better than Jones does. We need to give Hobbs a decent run of games on ball to be certain of his ability, and he needs to be played alongside Tsatas. As well, if Durham still has sore ribs, time on a wing will ultimately be good for him.
You know what, I had a similar thought.. we are so desperate to get Hobbs, Tsatas, Caldwell, Merrett, Parish (when fit) all in the midfield rotation, who could be pushed out. This bloke could be one of the better wingers if he was given the role full time. Lock it down with Durham and Duursma and the rest of the midfield group could improve astronomically.

was he rozee’s direct opponent? i’ll have to watch again. looked much better last night, though.

sans his goalkicking

wonder if he can go to another level with the extra layer of responsibility
No idea what he's like off field but on field he just oozes leadership and, like Merrett, leads by example. I don't think he's found his ceiling and is the kind of guy that lifts everyone around him. Can't say any of that about our current VC.

He is a bit of a blunt object both on and off the field. He is capable of leading by example, much as Zach does, but he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

Does he need to be to lead a footy club?
