Seriously, we should have destroyed this mob in the second half.

Same thing happening, poor use of the ball, etc..

The boys are just not in the same vein as the second half of last year. Not even close.

Geez, way to bring us down man...:D

For what it's worth I agree with you to a degree, but the positives outweigh the negatives.

Black looked off the pace but will be better for the run.
Pav, Has, Macca and Dessie were fantastic.
OUr ball use was better than it has been and our tackling was better.
All heading in the right direction.

What someone giving Dessie credit.......i just hope you wernt one of em bagging him.
Yes it might have been 22-19 but its still 18 a piece on the field.

They'd lost their first 3 of the year, under enormous pressure to win a game, alot of good players out and an away game, they won by 45 points give them a break!

I'm not talking about that.

Could have absolutely murdered Melbourne and didnt do it.

Yeah i'm pleased we played well, but I'm wondering what would've happened if they had 22 fit players because our disposal when we had 'swarms' of players moving forward was not flash.

Besides, these boys have played together for a long time, they should'nt have lost 3 games to start the season.

At this stage I'm happy to get a win, when staring down the barrel of 0-4 you'd take a 45 point win any day of the week. I'm certain they will improve further in the coming weeks with their confidence back, I agree though but it was only a small negative.

It would have been nice to get our percentage above 100 but it was a good performance and an emphatic win.

Away from home, muddy ground, 45 point win. :thumbsu:

Think we weren't firing at 100% today, but just glad to see a win like the rest. With a few more best 22 yet to come back we should do slightly better soon enough. Just hope Headland doesn't turn his form off (when he has shown he can easily turn it on) and Hasleby stays uninjured.

Disposal and what I call "heart" was up today over last few weeks which was good to see. Adelaide are going to be tough though....

One big positive so far this season is that we're third on the ladder for progressive score so far, only Essendon and the Cats have kicked a larger progressive score than us.

We've kicked over 100 pts in 3 of 4 games this year and if we keep that up and our defence tightens up (especially with the return of Johnson) we're gonna start winning a lot more.

I don't think the Crows will be able to stop our forwards this week the way they stopped the Swans, Hall had a crap game and when he's off he's reeeallly off!

I will take a little slice of humble pie for this one. I was one to bag Des for his performances but he did show me how he can play. Dont get too excited tho, lets just see if he can play 2,3,4 or half the season like he did yesterday. I hope he returns to the form at Brisbane when he recieved 16 brownlow votes from rounds 13-22 of season 2002 i think it was.

A lot of it has to do with how the crows set up. They make it very hard for opposition forwards to find space. The Crows won quite easily and only kicked 9 goals, we have beenn scoring 100 points and losing.
