Don't be boring tugg. Surely unless Sam Day's available, we'll be going for a class mid. Pretend there's an elite talent in each of those positions available, then answer the question.

I agree, didn't we pass up on Franklin when we went for that outside midfielder in Tambling cause we had Richo?

We have every position covered on the ground when we have no injuries. However we have no depth, and need to seriously upgrade players like Nason, Kick's, White, Thursfield, McGuane etc. who will not be in a premiership side with quality draft picks. This will give us the extra class we need and then those average players can be moved into depth. Solving both issues.
We are alright, the young fellas are just tapering off at the end of the year with no gas and nothing to play for and a gameplan that is only defensive at this stage.

Bet you Hawthorn wish they didn't go for the best available in 05 and 06 when they picked up Dowler at 6 and Thorp at 6. Ended up with the best available KPFs 3 years in a row and as a result wasted good opportunities. Dowler barely gets a game and Thorp is gone. Bet you at most other clubs both would have got early games and both would still be kicking it.

We need to gun it for Andrew Gaff! pray like hell he slips to pick 6 because he's the exact type of player we need.
Inside/Outside (more outside) mid that is a good decision make and has a lethal left foot but is more than handy on his right!
Avg 27 touches in the Champs and is a good size ready to play!
After that we go for needs, maybe a KPF then KPD then best left over towards the back of the draft and PSD/Rookie draft!

Gaff, Atley, Caddy, Harper
Would be keen to get another mid in the second round and then go after a ruckman...
Today proved we really need to booster our midfield, even if we have too many and someone like Caddy plays on the HFF replacing someone like White...= huge upgrade!
Must get another ruck..

If we are lucky to be in a position to pick up Dan Gorringe and we do, you will wet yrself when you realise how good this kid can be.
lets say Bennel and Swallow are already gone, my preferred talent of choice would be;
1st Sam Day
2nd Dan Gorringe
3rd K. Harper
4th J Caddy
5th S Atley
