Well I bet none of us thought this was a possibility. We had a tiny excuse that Sydney were finals hardened, well Freo aren't but are in good form. But there are no excuses, for the credibility of our club we must win this.

Freo caught Geelong napping and you've got the feeling Geelong thought they had this in the bag and then it was too late.

Truck has to continue on from today's game and hold Pav.
Someone needs to stop Stephen Hill, my call is Smith.
We are both missing our key defender so we can't use Talia absence as an excuse.
If we found Sydneys defence frustrating, wait until next week.

The boys have to come out and prepared to hit them with every thing we've got. Please, Crows win. Going out in straight sets to Freo would be unbearable.

Agreed, The year we have had, to go out in straight sets would be horrible, and you can hear all the doubters talking already.

We had the scoring shots today, and the inside 50's but were beaten in most other key areas. Look at the Freo Cats game, was almost the same.

I believe we still had a good shot at it today, but finals experience showed the way, we will be much better next week and hopefully get through to face the Hawks.

Best part about if we do that is no one will expect us to win, so just go out and play the way we want to.

Changes will be made. I would make A. Riley in the team and make wingnut the sub.

I am so f***** worried about this game. They got pretty close to us last time without McPharlin (and his intended replacement, Silvagni), Fyfe and a couple of their favoured fringe midfielders. And we had Talia to shut down Pav. Have an awful feeling Pav will kick 6+ on Luke Thompson and just about shatter his career.

We have beaten them twice this season, and the game is in Adelaide.

I think Geelong would have comfortably beaten us next week, but Freo getting through evens things up. If we take our opportunities unlike today, then we should win. I reckon we fire up more for night games too...

I can't see us missing that many set shots from so many I50s again, and Freo also don't have the quality down back without McPharlin to continually intercept every bloody entry. We have to be on our game though and just calm down when we have the footy and not panic. Freo are a bit like us in terms of finals experience, and we should have them covered in the middle (besides Sandi of course). Rutten just needs to bring the form from today into next week onto Pav, and that will go a long way to us winning.

Hendo in for Talia, Jenkins in for Riley maybe with Pets/Callinan as the sub. Need to get Jenkins in somehow, and I reckon Sando wants those 3 talls down forward again.

Hopefully Adelaide have learned a lot from the Sydney game and have some insight into what it takes in September. BOG for Adelaide today? Thompson, Rutten, Johncock and (especially) Reilley - seasoned professionals. Hopefully just a wake up call for the youngsters as Freo are coming.

He doesn't need to be. Rutten to Pav, Shaw to Mayne and have Hendo and Reilly rotating through on Kepler. We will struggle against Sandi when he goes down there, but so does every defense. IF we were playing Geelong I would have brought LT in, but it aint needed against Freo. Their smalls are who we need to contain. Smith to the pest and Dogga on Walters. Who else rotates through there for them?
