Sorry to make a post about this but today was massive.

This is even more important now with scum winning tonight.

Would love swans to know the hawks over tomorrow

Would also like the Weagles to get a loss, or otherwise their fans start talking about winning 3 in a row etc. etc.

Yeah, the pies have been great. When the bombers kicked that goal in the last quarter to put them in front i was thinking how bad is two and three? And thought its a lot worse when we could have 3/2. Thank god for Blair.

After seemingly being at crisis point what 10 days ago, now things are shaping up nicely.

Rd 6 - Western Bulldogs, we play well against the Dogs even when they are up and about....it should be a strong win.

Rd 7 - B.Lions at the Gabba, we owe this mob a couple, surely time to get a Win up at the GABBAtoir.

If as we should win those two games, all of a sudden we are 5-2 heading into the GF rematch....and we will also see Didak, Thomas, H.Shaw come into the side in the next few weeks, and then Reid and Tarrant potentially available around the Geelong game.

WE have put some good game time into Keeffe, Seedsman, Sinclair etc and looked to have unearthed a couple of players during the 'crisis' also.

ANZAC day was an enormous game, and now we need to build some momentum coming into the Geelong game.

If we can get Tarrant/Reid back and fit for the Geelong clash - we'll see how Hawkins likes playing on a fit backline instead of that mess we lined up in October last year.

If we beat Geelong, watch all those plebs in the media jump back on the band wagon.

Kick a bit straighter up to half time in round one and we'd be 4-1

And Hawthorn would be 1-4.

The media blew this out of proprtion again, we had to beat Port, we did, we had a tough game against the Bombers but came out on top, and we now face two more very winnable games coming up. Geelong are also not playing well atm so we are a big shot there as well, and we still have Melbourne and GC before the bye in rd 12. Worst case scenario is 7-4 by then, quite possibly we will be 8-3.

This season is going to be much closer than Last season I think Eagles will probably finish top 2 Geelong are just chugging along they could have been 1 and 4 easily, but they have learnt how to time their run I am not sure yet whether they will be able to rest players as easily this year as they were last and that could be a key for them more so for them because their players are
that bit older.

I think it will be bloody hard to make top 4 this year and if we do we are a big threat we have had the worse run of injuries and had more pressure and spotlight than anyone but I think we have fought our way out of it,I don,t think the team or a lot our players have shown much form yet.

Our top end talent is only just ticking over and we are making 3 or 4 changes most weeks but we staying in the race and if we can have everybody back and firing in the 2nd half of the year we may have few looking over their shoulders at us,over our 1st 5 rds we have been missing anywhere between 4 or 10 of our best 22 players any team would struggle with that even the Cats.

We have done pretty well to sitting at 3 and 2 I wonder if the Swans and Eagles would be 5 straight if they had our injury list I don,t think so and I dont think the Cats Blues or Hawks would either, after the Carlton match I thought our season could go either way but I think we are in for the long haul now and no more serious injuries touch wood and we can be a serious contender.

It's funny how 2 points can change our whole out look on the season. We go down to the bombers and we sit 2-3 which I would have taken after the Carlton nightmare. We would be saying this year might be to hard to get back into with the injuries we have. But we win and go 3-2 and all of a sudden we have winnable games coming up with players coming back and are ready to make our move.

I'm sure we all know the scene from Any given Sunday about inches. One of the best if not the best sporting scene's in a movie that is soooooooo true. Blair is one second to early or to late maybe he doesn't kick that goal. My whole outlook has changed from what it would have been had he not got there at the right time.
