I don’t like how we traded back Future 2nd, 31 and 42.

We were bottom 6 for the majority of this year with him.Swans with Curnow can win a flag, Carlton without him bottom 6 next year & more. We've been gipped.
Charlie ran away from breathalyser
Charlie ran away from rehabilitation
Charlie ran away from responsibility for his injury
Charlie ran away from owning his poor form
Charlie ran away from feedback
Charlie ran away from courageous leadership
Charlie ran away from contract
Charlie ran away from responsibility to young members
Charlie ran away from loyalty
Never had to earn anything.
Until now.
100%Charlie struggles with pressure. It's why he wanted out, it's why he always played on and snapped from 15m while the ump was setting the man on the mark, and it's why he always wheeled and kicked from the 50m arc.
I'm not sure the SCG is going to give him relief from expectations. AFL is serious business in Sydney these days.
But $$ and contract years was obviously the case with JSOS - as a free agent rightfully sniffling around a few clubs and landing a 5 year x $850k/ yr contract. Can someone message me and tell me what has gone on at the club to make cc and sos both want out? And I'm not talking about money and contracts
Actually it didn’t, Curnow kicked 5.1 against the Suns in ‘23 not 6.And just remember, in '23, he was the prime reason why we made finals. But I guess his 6 goal haul vs Gold Coast to bring us back from death and the match saving mark didn't happen?
This revisionist history is pretty funny, though.
No current season stats available
That doesn't really detract the point I made.Actually it didn’t, Curnow kicked 5.1 against the Suns in ‘23 not 6.
His other highlights included bags of goals in only five other games - 10 & 9 against WCE, 6 (NM), 6 (Collingwood) and 5 against cats.
He was missing in the finals managing only 1 goal in each game.

loves a surf......Manly Beach, Bondi Beach, and Maroubra Beach v Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale plus both clubs needed a gun forward...easy decision for a selfish person who is not team orientated. Swans will find him a very nice penthouse close to the surf and sand.Charlie wanted Geelong and settled for Sydney. That is a big difference in lifestyle - I wonder whether he really thought it through. He will nevertheless be happy to be fawned over instead of having to earn back respect
