I hope so. It would be great to see what he’s capable of doing at afl levelGreat performance, but it's not like he's never played well before. The usual case is that as soon as he finds form he gets injured - fingers crossed this time is different!

Now get off the turps and come back later in the day. Two completely different players at staggering different levels. Conca is still bottom six and let’s not forget he’s still a turnover merchant and poor decision maker and is glued together with second hand parts. His reliability is going to be the key to his survival as well as his disposal when under more pressure.Concs ios as good as Prestia when he is 100%, everyone always forgets it takes a bit of tyime to settle.

We’ve played CFC Lions who will be bottom four. Hawthorn are unknown for pressure and he was terrible against the Crows. Let’s take a deep breath and see how it pans out before we make outlandish statements. Conca’s On $150k
a year whilst Prestia is on 600k according to their market value. Balme may have got a bargain here , but let’s not forget 90 games in 8 seasons and the blokes lucky to be on a list just on reliability.

The 5 day break should just about see him cooked for the year.Great performance, but it's not like he's never played well before. The usual case is that as soon as he finds form he gets injured - fingers crossed this time is different!

Maybe he should only play one of those games...
We won a flag without Conca. Its bloody Collingwood.Yeah but you could say the same about Prestia, if Collingwood hadn’t rounded into some sort of form maybe rest them but I’d hate to lose to the pies and have the media talk about them like they did the bombers pre-season.

True. I just want us to make sure we have him when it matters.Collingwood are a confidence team. They'll be on a 3 game win streak (lol essendon), they'll be up and about. Of course they won't have faced much defensive pressure in those 3 games but would still like Prestia and Conca in for that as they are proving very good defensive players
id keep playing reece as much as we can, hes been given his chance and looking a million bucks need to test his durability now if hes going to break down again would rather see it now rather than in a final plus the pis have a good midfield and a lot of pace, dont like the thought of a miles or lloyd against the pies unless its a last resortGood call tigs2010. Can't see the coaches taking a chance with him against Collingwood if he pulls up even the slightest bit sore after the Melbourne game. Not when we've got Miles and Lloyd as plug-in replacements sitting there waiting for a chance.
I know he had a good game today but I still think he should only be depth.
He’s good in traffic, is a great tackler and can find the footy. But his decision making is questionable and skills by foot are average at best. He’s also not clean enough as he fumbles more than I’d like.
Today there was almost no pressure so it’s not going to show his weaknesses as badly but finals footy absolutely will.
Just no.Concs ios as good as Prestia when he is 100%.
Wouldn't say he is as good as, but I would say he is as important.Concs ios as good as Prestia when he is 100%, everyone always forgets it takes a bit of tyime to settle.
Wouldn’t go that farConcs ios as good as Prestia when he is 100%, everyone always forgets it takes a bit of tyime to settle.
I reckon the 2 faults in his game that you mention have a lot to do with playing **** all games for several years now.
I'm confident that with a stroke of luck he will 100% be best 22 and be an important mid for us going forward.
It takes time and confidence to come
Back from so many injuries and so little game time to be able to one grab and make the right decisions under pressure, even for the best players.
And if we're honest. Conca isn't even B grade yet but his last 2 weeks prove that could be and what a bonus that would be.Prestia is a genuine a grader
Conca is a genuine b grader
Having said that it's great that conca is fighting for his career .
