That was the majority of the side. Everyone was good without being great.

Maybe only Grimes, Astbury and Rance were great and Graham and Lambert very good

Was ok. 5/10. Conca is fine in these games though. It’s when the heat goes up that he’s likely to be an issue.

Next two weeks should give us more of an idea.

I think you'll fin he's likely been one of the most consistent player we've had at senior level, but you'll continue to nit-pick his game to deflect from the non-performance of your poster boy CEllis.

Like last week, didn't do a lot, but didn't do a lot wrong either. Still get very worried with the ball in his hands and still not sure he's best 22, but last few weeks he's been sound enough.

Everyone does ... everyone! You, me, him! Everyone. Just that he always chooses the wrong guy and makes poor comparisons, hence I don't rate his football knowledge.
It's common sense - no matter how you dress it up. Miles, with two blokes hanging off him every week, is a far better player and contributor than CEllis ... it wouldn't hurt for him to acknowledge that every so often.
And that's without mentioning the bloke who suggested 17 other clubs would be banging down our door to get CEllis.
But this is Big Footy ... reality have never been a strong point or prerequisite.

He's conceded defeat in the CEllis thread and is now saying what we were all telling him preseason that Cellis has been passed by too many blokes. Amazing how he gets away with derailing threads with irrelevant stats. Agree his football knowledge is based on reading stats sheets and not by vision.

Wrong as Conca is still on the fringe and after watching yesterday's game Lloyd could easily displace him if Conca's form goes about 5pc South.

I have acknowledged Miles does have an impact on VFL games and have regularly given him votes so don't accuse me of failing to acknowledge him. Maybe if you and others could acknowledge that Miles has shortcomings in his game which has seen him be replaced by better players we wouldn't have this ongoing merry go round.

As I've said the change in gameplan has possibly cost a few talented players their careers as we've shifted from a control the game through ball use to controlling it by pressuring the opposition into submission.

I thought Conca was very good yesterday. Watch the replay and you'll see how sure he is in close, consistently one grabbing it and weaving in and out of traffic. His numbers were average but I thought that was as assured as Ive seen him play - good signs

they are neck and neck aren't they. almost identical games yesterday. my conca coloured rose glasses had him playing the better.

CEllis's are a mile long ... won't stop you from telling us how good he is every seven weeks when he plays a decent one.
I think I stated earlier - twice - every player has shortcomings, Miles included.
yet you continue to paint him as the only player on our list who is incapable of changing, improving, altering his game.
CEllis has this amazing upside yet one player on our list is incapable of getting better. Well it's hard to get better when you still get 30-plus possessions week in, week out in thew Twos with two blokes hanging off you at every contest.
If a spud like Conca ... who has improved .... can, I'm sure Miles can play role, or improve. But keep convincing yourself he's no good.
