Standout

Qualifying final, 2018 (versus Richmond): One of the few Hawks who could feel satisfied with his own performance, Henderson was everywhere in this game, picking up 29 disposals and taking nine marks. Unfortunately, the Hawks couldn't keep up with the Tigers on the night.

Shocker

Round 15, 2018 (versus GWS Giants): Couldn't find the ball all that regularly (just 13 disposals) in a game the Hawks lost by 11 points. A bigger contribution from Henderson could have gone some way towards changing the final result.

Henderson has been an outstanding recruit as a delisted free agent. He’s been in the best 22 from Round 1 2017. Since then he’s played 40 games and kicked 24 goals.

With Scully likely to miss some games during the early rounds of the season, Henderson is still important and can be one of those types that can come off the bench and be an impactful player that can get around 20 disposals and kick 1 or 2 goals. He’s coming off a career best season even though he’s 30.

2017: 22 disposals - 7 marks - 3 tackles - 0.7 goals
2018: 20 disposals - 6 marks - 3 tackles - 0.5 goals

Still underrated by most.

To be ranked 19th in total marks and 16th in total bounces is a more than decent achievement.

No reason he can't step up another level in 2019, he has improved every year he has been an the Hawks and looks in great physical nick.

He's given us huge service and the fact that he was Green makes it even more enjoyable.

I love watching when he has roasted his man with hard running to have an easy receive and open goal.
I think he was harder in the aerial contest in 2018 too.
