If he isn't avoiding tackles then that must mean that he is involved in the play, which is something that some have suggested he doesn't do enough of. As TI put forward, he was involved in at least half a dozen tackling situations (2 made tackles and 4 broken tackles) on Wednesday night and overall he was credited with 5 tackles in the stats. By my count that is at minimum 9 tackling situations. Similar to the first game against Essendon, the difference was that he got on the end of some possessions when being involved in the play and ended with 20 disposals and 6 tackles. For a kid labelled as timid weak and skinny, it's a step in the right direction to see him involved in that much of the play. What he needs now is to consistently produce games where he is getting his 15-20 touches and 4-6 tackles a week. He does that and we have another solid midfield/flanker to add to the mix that we can continue to develop so that by time he is in his mid 20's he is a player that we all want him to be.Sorry RT,But he's not exactly going to avoid to tackle if he has no choice is he.
