Kid tries hard just doesn’t have any elite traits. He’s undersized and has iffy disposal will be the classic list clogger. Think webberly or that mate of lamberts think his name was Marcon.
Undersized? He's bigger than Hugo, Sonsie and Ellis. He's played 1 game. He's had 1.5 pre-seasons and he is easily the best runner at the club. So his elite trait is his endurance. Sure we are having a tough run but pick some different targets. We traded pick 99 on him FFS, he's already exceeded expectations.

Some people...FMD

Based on what one game in the AFL, lol. Give him a chance.

Max Holmes had lousy disposal when he 1st started, was only renowned for his elite running. I hope our development/ skills coaches are good cos we need a decent winger and to find one with a throwaway pick 99 is exactly what we need. Was a decent enough debut, so hoping they pump some continuous games into him

also was on 100% TOG well into the 2nd qtr until they moved kmac2 onto the wing for the lack of banks rotation i'm guessing, endurance beast, hopefully he can get used to the level and be able to utilise it more
Seth 16kms, Hugo 15.2 were top 2 on the ground
Patty was top5 for Distance at high speed

RFC outran NMFC by 8kms

RFC outsprinted NMFC by 11.

RFC out repeat sprinted NMFC.

with Banks out early & Taranto off at half time

He played his first game yesterday.
Only 9 other team mates recorded higher disposals.

He ran hard, found space and was decent with his disposal.

I’m not sure what you expect from a first gamer Stanley.

That's a positive at least. When we have a team with the experience and skills required to see out games that will be worth its weight in gold.

All that running to get nowhere near the ball.

I wonder if this extra running stat is a trend across games, and the overexertion in games is leading to the stress injuries.

We have to focus on making the right movement at the right time not be monkeys at typewriters.

Probably because we were chasing Norf players all day?

Mate ... it's the most misleading stat going.
Our guys spend all their time chasing tail. They do all their running without the ball.
Who cares how far you run when you get smashed by 75 points by North.
Here's a stat for you.
Ralphsmith has run 1.2km per disposal; two of them clangers, about seven of them poor.
He can run 85kms next week and go help out Broadford, who are struggling big time in their return to football in the Bendigo league.
And we can celebrate the fact he ran 85kms.

Still does.

Times during the game I saw several of our monkeys surrounding a lone Norff player who managed to get the ball away while they were still typing...not sure where the KLM's came from...
