If you are a long term punter, this isn't a bad bet.
Problem is you have to bet big at odds like that to get any return.
I'll stick to the $11 each way (prelim or GF) for the flag bet I've piled up on.

why wait 8months for a 33% return
whenever we play the swans just load up......will be much more than a 33% return and in only 3hrs!!

Yeh, betting on that when the return in so far down the line puts me off. Like everyone has mentioned, it's a good bet if you're a long term punter.
I'll get by with my long shot multis each week, and occasionally loading up on a game that's epic value.

if you look at our draw tho you can understand why they are baiting punters with these odds.

I use SportingBet and BetFair for all my sports betting needs.
SportingBet is one of the easiest betting sites around, and it's very easy to place Multi's on there, so I like it.
I find Betfair is best for straight out bets, as you can always find another punter willing to lay the team you want to bet with.
The way I started was to start accounts with several betting agencies, using their "free bets" as a way to try out their site.
Sportsbet.com is also highly rated for AFL, although I found it a little muddled and slow.
Try some out, see how you like them.
