Would love Cotchin to give him a call and help him get some aggression. There were about 2 games back to back this year where he went all out and looked a decent player. Just think that if he got his agression at the ball right, he could make it.

One thing I have observed in the world is no one is actually for "Freedom of Speech" in the way it is thought of. People are more for "Freedom of speech that I can tolerate".

Sonsie was going to be delisted. He was saved by the Prestia charges which took the club by surprise last week.

Sharp, I presume.
He is a LEADER, always good, and even better when the going gets tough.
Pros - Inside mid, ball magnet, defensive beast, feeds others, good forward. Best player for each of the last few years in this year's draft crop. Drag his team over the line in big games (like finals) So low risk, high return. ... Not Cotchin, but has similar leadership and performance traits to Cotch.
Against - Not great outside, doesn't have Lalor's ability to rip the game apart with super elite skill. That is, he's good, but not elite.

Id like to do, what they did with Dow this year
Give him the season in the starting midfield position Dow had. This will be the now or never approach needed to make an informed decision on his future.
I feel like Tyler hasnt had an actual opportunity to play his preferred position, the way Ross and Dow have had.
By giving him the Dow spot, we will know empaphatically, but end of season, if hes worth persisting with or not.
That 2021 draft hand - which includes Banks, Sonsie, Brown, Clarke and Gibcus need a proper opportunity to establish themselves.
We discovered Banks once Short got injured, he'd still be flourdering without the consistent game time in the one position.
Sonsie is too good for VFL. He cant play VFL anymore, no more dropping to VFL, in and out the AFL team. Give him the year and we will know

Yes but the no-brainer year to do it was 2025. Our midfield of Prestia + TT + Hopper got blown out of the water week after week and Yze refused to give Sonsie even a quarter as an on-baller. Next year it will be harder to fit him in as the new batch of kids start putting their hand up.

What a load of horse shit. It was a call between sonsie and dow. Dow didn’t get a contract sonsie did.
Prestia got extended ages ago and the club was fully aware of what was going down with Prestia.
Only one of us knows what happened and for the record it ain’t you.
