Over the last ~20 years, we have collectively produced ~400 pages of threads pertaining to this godforsaken league. Surely - SURELY - it's now time to sit back a little and reminisce - and NOT just because the Demons aren't in the grand final this season.
We've all had different experiences here, and some have been here than others. Some have been here from the very start.
I always enjoy going back through old threads and dishing out cheeky likes here and there, and there are some absolutely brilliant threads from years and seasons go by. What I'd like this thread to be is a nice little collection of people's favourites. If you like, you can share a little something about why you think the thread is great, or maybe why it was influential.
Please do not make a mockery of this exercise. Please. Do not. Please.
And go!

I'll start us off with two of my favourite threads, both of similar nature. I love the petty "gotcha" part of the Sweet FA, because oftentimes the gotcha moments are based on the tiniest of intricacies or technicalities, and the whole thing is just so SILLY.
The Evolution of a Sweet FA poster: Meet "Tony" - The Jesus (January 2020)
www.bigfooty.com
The Bombers erroneously list tony - at this stage a completely anonymous poster with practically zero posting history - instead of Tony Lynn 15 in the squad submission list. Hilarity ensues. The absolute icing is that tony appears out of nowhere and becomes a regular poster and entrenched contributor as a result.
--
This next one has similarities, and again involves the Bombers. I've always said they're the central pillar of the league, and I won't hear a word against it - I know they'll dispute that, such is their humility.
Shock and Awwwwwe sh*t - The Santoz Story - TheInjuryFactory (April 2020)
www.bigfooty.com
Then-EKA possibility Santoz is revealed to have actually debuted all the way back in Season 7 (that's 2007 for those playing at home). Santoz was subsequently deemed ineligible for the EKA.

Over to you, Sweet. Let's all enjoy this wonderful, wonderful thread together.

Hi friends I would like to introduce you to someone most of you don't already know, tony Here's some interesting facts about Tony you probably didn't know: 1. Tony had a Real Madrid top with Raul's signature on it which he was trying to sell. However I don't know if the sale was successful...

So I was quietly minding my own business this week, when I was tagged by my friend Headless in our match thread. TheInjuryFactory, did any of your players debut in Season 7 by any chance? Odd question out of the blue. Now as a captain of some repute, Headless might have assumed I have...
