True but he's also one of the few players capable of actually doing a job properly.
Just a shame we can’t have him do the one thing he’s passable at, then get the game stopped and sub in a different player to pick up and use the ball…. Mind you this applies to more players than just JK

That's a bit harsh
He couldn't even hold chest marks on the weekend.

Might be confidence but either way he has still completely negated two of the better attacking HBFers in the comp. If tagging players on the opposition backline is a thing (and it seems to be at times) then that's a role he can excel at.

hey this thread has gone quiet all of a sudden, so I'm just wondering why that is.

IIRC it there's been some firm opinions about Konstanty being a liability, no wonder Sydney let him go etc

Personally, I didn't think was a good footballing assessment - he chases, pressures, tackles and throws himself in. Sure, he missed some opportunities by foot in the last month, but that is capable of improvement.

I was glad to see him get on the end of one.

Konstanty, Payne and Harvey now seem to offer some small fwd options we didn't think we had two months ago

Yes it was great he kicked a goal for the first time in 2 months. But 12 disposals at 33% is still rat shit which undoes any work without the ball.

If this is his best, and it comes against a broke dick tiges, then he’s still one to move on.

These individual stats feed our left brain perversion for decontectualised understanding. Maybe still cool for coaching archery or swimming or boardroom acquiescence, but not soo much dynamic team contribution.

He’s played every week in a 5 win team despite contributing **** all offensively at best, and being detrimental at worst.

Not all that dynamic

as soon as our forward line clicks he will be as important as anyone
I like him, but his lack of offensive nous contributes to why it's not clicking. He doesn't clear space when he leads, and he doesn't hit front and centre nearly enough for a small forward.

His entire game is built around tackling when sometimes our forward line need him to crumb and lead as well.

So with all those flaws (which are damning for a small forward), why do you "like him"?

Hes a defender that clogs the forward line and doesn’t kick goals.

Lethal combination.

I love what JK brings to the game with his aggression and pressure but he has to do more with the ball.
Could be competing with Banch for a game next year.
Payne, Harvey and Banch would be a good smalls group.
