Problem is we need to use a top pick to get a good quality young ruckman and it has been a very long time since we used a pick in the first 3 rounds on a ruckman.

21, so is a bit more mature than a 19 year old.

From limited VFL I have seen, he moves well and is a good tap ruckman.

Now the hard work starts to build up his strength and running capacity to get a crack at AFL level.

Only player over 200cm under 29 (Naismith turns 29 in a month IIRC).

Surprised we didn't give him a crack as a Cat B rookie last year but suppose we had other areas. His ECFL record seems OK? Definitely a long shot but might be developable.
