We are kinda taking it for granted that Trembath is going to be a hit. Hope so, getting a 40+ goal key forward would be a huge needle mover. Extra bonus with him coming from the midseason draft.

With 5 on the bench now and Darling able to pinch hit in the ruck I think we can run with all 3 in the squad in 2026. Darling has a role next year and then someone has to take it off him going forward, either a Goad or Matlock depending on what the need is, more in the ruck or more of a forward.

As a professional organization they should be flipping up all the rocks and doing due diligence across the board.

Not just on the top 100 prospects in the 17-18 year bracket. But also looking at those who missed out on the draft in the 19-23 year bracket and keeping tabs on them. Eg. Ben Brown

I think they're starting to. He said, and Thursfield said there wasn't any doubt about his ability, just on his fitness which he went to work on. The other thing too is having a regular job and not being brought up in the spoilt draftee regime probably made him want it more.

Just bored off season banter . Looking at pics from training and alongside others, I would guess 194-195 CMs at an absolute maximum. “6’4 and a half” in the old imperial.
