Geelong's win over West Coast has improved their best 75-game streak. It was 61.5/13.5 and is now 62.5/12.5.

That one win has moved Geelong from 7th to 4th on the list below. A win over Fremantle in R12 will move Geelong up to 3rd with a 63.5/11.5 record. A win over Port in R13 will move Geelong up to 2nd with a 64.5/10.5 record.

Geelong have continued to improve their best 75-game sequence this year. With the win over the weekend, Geelong have improved to 65-10, and will improve upon that with a good start next season.

Geelong will have the opportunity to erase the L W W L L start to 2007 and could improve their best 75-game sequence to 68-7. Whatever happens, no doubt Geelong will usurp Collingwood early next year.
