Our gun laws don't apply to Josie. And we have seen that backed up by SAPOL.

She might kill someone one day, I'm truly concerned that might happen.

Imo

Just for context: Neighbour Joy's husband was killed in an accidental shooting during a fox hunt. That is a fact.
Was Joy's brother killed in fox hunt

I think in the last 3 or 4 pages we are all starting to realize
This is so damn sad and uncanny I`m not closed to the possibility of something happening that belongs to realms outside everyday, rational experience. There have been such cases, rare as they are.

On the balance of probability there`s been human involvement. I know how I`d feel if I had nothing to do with a child member of my family disappearing so strangely - anybody under those circumstances who is innocent would feel terrible enough without others blaming them.

However, a family member or members knowing what happened because one or more were involved is a possibility than can`t be ruled out. Of course the police are not talking publicly about that possibility for a number of reasons including this is how good detective work is done. The extensive searching has found nothing, a plausible reason is something happened to Gus and he was taken away by somebody who is not part of the family or somebody who is.

For me the lack of footprints, clothing, some significant physical evidence in tracks apart from fox tracks etc indicates Gus could have been physically lifted into a vehicle and taken off the property. And I don`t think a questioning of the timeframe narrative can be ruled out if what in fact the police are dealing with is a suspected crime.

It`s possible Gus `disappeared`well before the authorities were notified. Such as in timelines like a week before or more. That would explain the lack of evidence. It`s hard to think of this but family/friends/acquaintances are often involved in missing children`s cases. There have been cases where children were accidentally killed, the fact concealed and the situation being reported as a disappearance.

The police have to be considering this, bad as the implications are.
Yep I think the last few pages we are all starting to come to the think that given the lack of evidence (physical or any wise) , ses line searching, drone, cadaver dogs, indigenous trackers and no birds of prey anywhere to be seen that probably the most plausible reason is that he hasn’t been on that property for weeks

I wonder how far away in each direction is the nearest / biggest truck station with CCTV

Today is the first I heard that there were dogs. Do you have information or are you supposing?
The commissioner had said trained dogs were used, but for some reason when I click on that article The Advertiser has edited their story.

I wonder if SAPOL will consider flying in a police cadaver dog to search parts of the property?
If there’s a body it would certainly be smelly by now. I know from driving in the country you can easily smell dead roos from inside your car.

Yes I read searchers were using smell when they did their last 5km radius search.

I gotta be honest with ya, my first thought was, he's been playing outside on dusk, hears Mum and Grandma returning from tending the sheep, runs out to greet them, is hit by the vehicle and critically injured, they panic, take the body somewhere in the 3 hours before Police are called and a narrative of wandering off is put forward.

Ticks a few boxes too.

No tracks
No body for searchers/animals to find
And if SAPOL are on the same page,no need for public assistance.

Its a terrible thing to consider but not unbelieveable.

Her husband was killed in a fox hunt.

Who killed him?
I haven't come across anything that states Joy's husband (Ronald) was killed in a foxing hunt.

However I have found Joy's brother (Harry) was killed in a foxing hunt.

Just clarifying your information

Usually in small towns everybody knows everybody else's business intimately. Maybe there's a reason nobody is talking publicly?
Maybe everyone is related.
This case is weird, I feel the place is weird

We love him, we miss him, we just want him home.

Maybe thank the police and SES for searching.

Just the usual stuff.

Suburbia stuff right there, this one rings a different bell.
