OK, talk about getting carried away with one good win but I just can't help myself.
Our next 4 games are:
Essendon (AAMI)
Collingwood (TD)
Hawthorn (MCG)
Carlton (AAMI)
Essendon this Friday is a real test, perhpas even more so than the Showdown we just won. The team had a lot of pride to play for after 7 straight losses, it would not have taken much to get them fired up against Port. Now it's up to the team to keep up the intensity and win twice in a row against top 4 contenders.
Unless Collingwood and Hawthorn have dramatic form reversals, we should be able to beat them, especially Pies without Buckley.
Carlton at home won't be anywhere near as easy as it would have been the last 2 years but we should still beat them.
That would take us to 6-5 with a trip to Perth ahead of us against a (hopefully still) struggling WC.
