See i chose my team in 1992, and when my all-time favourite player moved to New York i didn't just start to call them "we".

I support my TEAM, not an individual.

BTW I'm not calling you a bandwagon supporter because they are winning, just the idea of supporting two teams ishows no real passion for the game.

You just keep telling yourself what you need to....so that you can think you know more about the game or have more passion etc etc, whatever helps you sleep at night.

Well, why is it you mention the Wizards because they are on a hot streak at the moment (yet wont make the playoffs in my opinion) but fail to mention how well your beloved Bulls are doing? You can support a player without jumping on the teams bandwagon. I love Mj and am glad to see him do well. He's one of the greatest. I want to see the Wizards win for his sake, but will not go bragging all over the world that they are now one of my teams. If he is your all time favourite player and you swap teams with him swapping teams that is one thing. But you can only be loyal to one team.

Im loyal to the Chicago Bulls but i also follow the Wizards because MJ plays for them. Once he is retired i wont follow the Wizards anymore....the reason im talking a lot about the Wizards is because there an interesting subject. They have the games greatest ever player at 38 turning a mediocre club into a playoff contender, there is plenty to talk about.

Sadly there aint much to talk about concerning the Bulls who are playing like crap, give them time though. In years to come Curry and Chandler are gonna dominate and more titles will come are way :D

Oha nd thanks to losses to the Orlando Magic and the New York Knicks the Washington Wizards have moved into the 8th playoff spot in the East and sit 3rd in the Atlantic!!!

The next 5 games for the Wizards though dont get any more important. They have the Hawks (9-14) Magic (12-14) Knicks (11-13) Hornets (11-12) & the Pacers (13-12).

5 games, all Eastern Conference teams, all playoff contenders or in the mix and all will be tough games.

Well there now on a 5 game winning streak. They are looking pretty good. There 1 game out of a playoff spot sitting in 5th in the Atlantic. There 5 wins werent soft either...coming against New York, Dallas, Memphis, Miami & Houston.

Fair enough Houston and Memphis were wins they should have got and did but Miami were back to full strength barring Kendall Gill and NY and Dallas are top rate teams.

Only question remains is that the 8 teams already occupying the top 8 spots (Detroit, New Jersey, Boston, Milwaukee, Indiana, Toronto, Charlotte and Orlando) are all pretty good sides. Then there is New York & Philly who are bound to get better and challenge for spots.

Can Washington fit into the picture somewhere?

No. I still think Miami will run over them in the end, but it may take until the very end of the season before that happens.

Geez thats a huge call....Miami are 5 - 18! Thats ugly and the Wizards are on a 7 game winning streak and have pulled up to .500 on 12 - 12, they sit in 7th place in the playoff race.

Personally i think Miami are gone, its just too late to turn around such a horrible start.

Miami are under performing, due entirely to a bad run with injuries. They were one of the favourites to lose to the Lakers in the finals this year, so they must have the players. They showed signs last week that they were starting to get it right, before that slip up at home. Things aren't going for them at the moment, but I still prefer them to the Wizards.

If i could say only only one to make the playoffs it would be Washington but the Hest arent completely gone. The East is so tight all they need is a 3 or 4 game winning streak and they'll be on there way back. Personally though i cant see it but it is tough to argue when they have talent like Zo, Jackson, Gill, Grant, Strickland, Carter, Jones and a great coach in Riley. Can they get healthy and can they play together?
